Avi Amit

Manager of the Audit Methodology Department and Responsible for the Quality Management System of Audit Services.

Avi has extensive experience in providing accounting and consulting services to leading international companies, including publicly traded companies in Israel, the U.S., and other stock exchanges. In this capacity, Avi has managed audit teams in Israel and worldwide and has extensive experience and knowledge in working with various professional bodies regarding public offerings and other complex projects.

As Manager of the Audit Methodology Department, Avi is responsible for the professional aspects related to auditing at BDO Israel, maintaining continuous contact with professional bodies in the BDO network, as well as with regulatory and enforcement authorities in the field of auditing.

In addition, Avi is responsible for the quality management system of audit services, the development of advanced procedures and work practices, and providing professional advice to the firm's professional teams.

As part of his training, Avi worked for about six months at the BDO offices in Los Angeles.
Avi is a member of the Audit Standards Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel.
 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting (BA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B).
